# Watch TxPool Changes

> Poll the txpool and print transactions added or removed between snapshots.

Use `txpool watch` to poll the pool and print transactions added or removed between snapshots.

This is an RPC polling command. It does not subscribe to internal Reth txpool events.

## Command

```sh theme={null}
rex txpool watch
```

By default, the command polls every 2 seconds until you stop it with `Ctrl-C`.

Run a fixed number of polls:

```sh theme={null}
rex txpool watch \
  --interval 1 \
  --iterations 5
```

## Example Output

```text theme={null}
TXPOOL WATCH
Polling every 1s. Press Ctrl-C to stop.
## When To Use It
`watch` is useful while sending transactions from another terminal:
* submit a missing nonce and observe queued transactions become pending
* submit a [replacement](/docs/txpool/replacement) and observe whether the old hash disappears
* watch whether a dev node mines or clears the pool
For deeper real-time txpool events, Rex would eventually need a direct Reth integration instead of JSON-RPC polling.
